Received slides as a PDF but need to present, edit or reuse them? This converter turns each page of a PDF into a PowerPoint slide. Text becomes editable text boxes in the same position, images and shapes are placed where they were, and the slide size matches the PDF page, so you can fix a typo, update a number or borrow a slide for your own deck.

How editable is the result?

Each line or block of text becomes its own text box, placed exactly where it was on the page, so slides look like the original. You can click into any text box to change words, and move or delete images and shapes.

Because a PDF does not store “paragraphs” the way PowerPoint does, long texts may be split into several boxes, and bullet lists come through as text rather than PowerPoint bullets. For heavy rewriting, PDF to Word may be easier.

PDFs that were exported from PowerPoint convert best. Scanned PDFs become slides with a picture of each page.

Slide size

Slides use the size of the PDF pages: widescreen slides exported to PDF come back as 16:9 slides, and A4 documents become A4-shaped slides.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a PDF to PowerPoint for free?

Upload the PDF on this page and press Convert. Download a .pptx with one slide per page; no sign-up.

Can I edit the text after converting?

Yes. Text becomes editable text boxes positioned as in the PDF.

Will it look exactly like the PDF?

Very close for most PDFs. Fonts that are not installed on your computer may be replaced, which can change line lengths slightly.

Does it work in Google Slides?

Yes. Upload the .pptx to Google Drive and open it with Google Slides.

Are my files kept?

No. Each PDF is converted in a private temporary folder that is deleted right afterwards.
