This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data when you use CloudConverter ("we", "us", the "Service"), a free online tool for converting images, audio, video, PDFs, and extracting text from images.
Files you upload
Files you upload for server-side conversion are sent to our server, processed, and returned to you as a download. We do not read, scan, index, or share the contents of your files. Uploaded and converted files are stored only for the length of the conversion request and are deleted immediately afterward — typically within seconds. We do not keep backups of user files. The Image to Text tool runs entirely inside your browser; those images are never uploaded to our server at all.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server and any analytics tools we use may automatically log standard technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used only to keep the service running reliably and to understand aggregate usage — not to identify individual visitors.
