A PowerPoint file needs PowerPoint (or a compatible app) to open, is often large, and can look different on another computer when fonts are missing. A PDF of your slides opens on every phone and laptop, keeps the design fixed, and is what teachers, conferences and clients usually ask for. This converter turns PPTX, PPT and ODP presentations into a PDF with one slide per page.
What carries over from your slides
Text, pictures, shapes, tables, charts, slide backgrounds and themes are all kept, in the same position as in PowerPoint. Slide numbers and footers appear if they are switched on in the presentation.
Animations, transitions, videos and audio cannot exist in a PDF; each slide is shown in its final, fully built state.
Speaker notes and hidden slides are not included, so you can keep private notes in the file.
Fonts
Common fonts such as Calibri, Arial, Times New Roman and Cambria are matched with metric-compatible fonts, so text wraps the same way. If your slides use a rare or decorative font, a similar font is used instead; for an exact match, export from PowerPoint itself with File → Save as → PDF.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert PPT to PDF for free?
Upload the .pptx or .ppt file on this page and press Convert. No PowerPoint or sign-up needed.
Are animations kept?
No. A PDF is static, so each slide is shown in its finished state, with all animated items visible.
Are speaker notes included?
No. Only the slides themselves are converted. Hidden slides are skipped too.
Can I convert old .ppt files?
Yes. Old PowerPoint 97-2003 .ppt files, modern .pptx, slide shows (.pps, .ppsx) and OpenDocument .odp all work.
Are my presentations stored?
No. Each file is converted in a private temporary folder that is deleted as soon as the PDF is sent back to you.
