Pakistani passports use the international 35 × 45 mm photo size on a white background, and the same shape is asked for by many visa, university, recruitment and bank forms in Pakistan. Online forms add their own KB limits, which vary from site to site. This page crops your photo to 35 × 45 mm and, for online forms, keeps it under the KB limit you set.
Pakistan passport photo basics
Size 35 × 45 mm (3.5 × 4.5 cm), which is 413 × 531 pixels at 300 DPI. Plain white background with no shadows. Face the camera directly with a neutral expression, eyes open, face and ears clearly visible. No glasses, and no caps; religious head coverings are fine as long as the face is fully visible.
For passport applications the photo is usually taken at the passport office itself, but many online services, visa applications and forms still ask for one in this size.
CNIC and NADRA
For a CNIC or other NADRA card, your photo is normally captured at the registration centre or live in the Pak-ID app, so you do not upload one. When a form asks for a “CNIC size” or “passport size” photo, the 35 × 45 mm preset is what they mean.
Online forms with KB limits
Recruitment, university and scholarship portals often ask for something like “JPG, max 100 KB” or “between 20 and 50 KB”. Pick the closest preset and change Max KB and Min KB to match the form exactly. The photo keeps its 35 × 45 shape (or the pixels you type) and only the quality changes.
